Tanabata festival is coming on July 7th in Japan. This festival is based on the Chinese legendary meeting of two stars on the Milky way. Every year we celebrate it by writing our wishes on a piece of colorful paper and hanging it from bamboo branches.

I was inspired by this festival and decided to use the bamboo branches for the ikebana work this week. The flower of agapanthus and dill represent the stars on the Milky way.
